I know I have been doing this a long time now, but I still have questions!

I am always way low on the carb o meter. I do fine and go over on the protein which is important to me. But I am always way low on the carbs. I dont drink any of my calories, so no juice. But I eat whole grain bread, brown rice, potatoes, noodles.

Today I had 1/2 a bagel, 2 slices of WW bread, Smart Choice penne pasta and still I am 1/2 or less of my daily MFP carbs.

Anyone with any info would be appreciated. :flowerforyou:

Then let's swap! I am always over on carbs! I don't think being low is bad unless you are working out alot. You need the carbs to burn.

You can always adjust your carb/protein/fat allowances by going to goals, then change goals, then custom settings. A lot of people think that MFP has the carbs set too high (me too!) so I set mine at 45% and then you can set protein at 25 or 30 and fat at 25 or 30 or whatever percentages you want!

I'm less hungry if I eat more protein and fewer carbs ... and I always adjust my fiber grams up to 25 because that is what the big-wig nutritional people recommend.

Heck no. It's really high even for me, and I'm running multiple miles 5 days/week. 50% is plenty for endurance athletes at our level, and if you're not doing 60+ minutes of cardio most days of the week, 50% is more than enough. See how 45-50% feels, and if that's too high, try 40%. You can increase your protein up to 25-30% along with your fat to make up for the reduction in carbs.

Ok. I adjusted the stats. Of course tonight is one of those nights I have 500 cals because I ate fish and then power walked another 350 cals. I will prob have a hard time getting to sleep. OOOh maybe some hummus. G'night y'all!!
