Question for HRM for group exercise instructor

I know there are a million threads out there, I ask anyway: Does anyone have a recommendation for a HRM that I can wear like a watch without doing much to it, that doesn't beep for when I teach class. I wear bra tops only, so the wrap thing doesn't work for me. If possible with price of the thing. I just fear, I could pass out one of these days teaching high intensity interval. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

http://www.amazon.com/Timex-T5G971-Unisex-Personal-Monitor/dp/B000P8VWQS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1312477461&sr=8-1 great product. As a trainer I wear mine all day and just a push of the button I know on/off, calories, hrm, and time.0

I bought a Mio Petite from Amazon, about $40. I hate chest straps and have checked the accuracy of the HR with other things and it is very good. I had to read the instructions carefully to set it up, but after that, it was pretty user friendly. Good luck!0

I have the black one, after initial set up I just push the button and go. It has the alarms but I just turned those off when I took it out of the box for set up. Works great whether I'm teaching class or doing whatever else. It has a chest strap, which I wear under my sports bra and I've never found to be an inconvenience in the past 4 years. The hubs bought me one without a chest strap several months ago because the guy said that they were "what's in right now" and it was hugely inaccurate. Then I bought a Garmin 305 and returned that as well, the calorie count was based off of distance not hr (stupid), I always come back to polar.0 -
Thanks guys! I will do some research.0

Arg, don't get this one. The only thing thats accurate about this Timex HRM is the heart rate.. and the calorie count is through the roof!
Personally, all the trainers and fitness instructors at my gym have a Polar as they are the best brand out there. No one is really going to care about the chest strap.. its not that noticeable, and if you want an accurate heart rate/calorie count thats what you need anyway. The watch only ones only take your pulse when your finger in on the sensor.. and if your teaching a class, how many times are you really going to stop and touch the sensor?0
