Small victory.

I went tanning today and when I came out of the room into the main lobby, there was a woman sitting at a little table with a small boy eating McDonalds. Can I just mention that fast food is my greatest weakness!?! It smelled so good, especially the french fries. I love McDonalds' fries. That was all it took to concivce me to go to McDonald's to get lunch before I went back to work (I was on lunch break). That smell triggered a hunger in me and it wasn't even a question that I was going to have McDonald's for lunch now.

Well, by the time I got to my car, I stopped and thought about what I had decided to do. I thought about how I would feel afterwards. I decided it wasn't worth it. I drove straight back to work and ate the healthy lunch that I had planned on having today!!!

It's only one lunch, but I know that I have trouble convincing myself not to go once I have my mind made up. That is my small victory for today. it's not much and it is a constant battle, but I won this one and I feel great about it!

    Oh and I also thought about how I would have to log that food and my friends can all view my food diary and I didn't want that junk to be in there.
