Cooking Oil Included?

When making something where the instructions say to cook it with some oil, does anyone know if the calorie count on the package includes that or if I need to add the oil separately?

I add it separately.
The package doesn't know what type of oil you'll be using anyway.0 -
I'm pretty sure it's not included. I believe the nutritional information is just for what is contained in the package.
Not 100% on that, but pretty sure.0 -
Cool. Thanks, guys!

I've always assumed it was included. The butter and milk is included in Mac and Cheese....0

i think it depends on how the nutritional information reads, a lot of packaged foods will give you one value for the box and then and then another value for a serving "as prepared" when they say that i assume it includes all ingredients necessary to make it, if it doesn't then i add it on its own0

Hm. It's probably safest to add the oil separately, at any rate. Better to overestimate than underestimate.0
