I turned 40 in May and need to get serious about losing this weight! My husband and I are both overweight, so I'm fortunate to have someone in my life doing this with me, but we tend to downfall at the same time, too.

I have no children of my own, but have three step kids, two adults and one that is 15.

Losing 50lbs is my goal, but really, I should lose 70lbs. My first mini-goal is to lose 15lbs by October 15 (11 weeks away) - we're taking a long weekend away and I'd like to have just a little weight off of me by then.

I've been eating better, taking "boot camp" twice a week, and riding bikes (trying for twice a week, but I work two jobs...hard to fit in sometimes).

Whether you have 5lbs to lose or 300lbs to lose - GOOD LUCK! I know it's just as hard for you as it is for me!

Let's keep each other motivated!
