I wanna get back into working out a lot again, but I feel sooooooo tired all day.
Where do I find the energy to exercise when I barely have energy to stay awake at work?

Reading this made me yawn.
Basics: Are you getting enough sleep at night? Maybe you need to shut down all electronics (computer, TV, phone, etc.) an hour before you usually go to bed, get your room nice and dark and treat yourself to a good night's sleep.
Smart step: Don't decide to go to the gym. Never decide to go to the gym. It is too HARD to have to decide to go to the gym each time. Make it a routine like you do with work. You're not deciding to go to work each day, you just go because you have a set time to go there and things that you do once you're there and a set time to go home -- it is a routine and you do it on auto-pilot. Do the same thing with the gym -- on auto-pilot.0 -
Remember that once you start working out again, your energy level will increase. It might be a chore getting a workout back into your daily routine, but it will get easier each day.0

Agree 110%!! put the gym on auto-pilot. And, it will help you sleep better too!0 -
I have been on three different sleep trials because I have such severe insomnia. I also have Lupus and Hashimotos, which drain your energy. Plus, I'm on drugs for those illnesses that cause even MORE drowsiness. THEN, I have constant severe pain from my Fribromyalgia. I work 9 hour days, while hardly staying awake, and I can still get a workout in 4-5 days a week. It has nothing to do with being tired, it has to do with your drive. Nobody can WANT it for you. "Tired" is just an excuse. The transformation can't happen until you want it badly enough. You can get all the advice in the world on here, but it doesn't mean squat if you won't push yourself harder than you think you can be pushed.0

I have this same problem. You're tired because you don't work out, you don't work out because you're tired. It's a vicious circle.
But if you can fight through it and drag yourself to the gym for 2 weeks, you will teach yourself to love it! I can't wait to go to the gym after work now! And I used to dread it and have to force myself there.0 -
