    #6 -- you don't have to melt the candies in a double boiler. just put them right on top of the brownies as soon as they come out of the oven, wait 3 minutes and spread the melted chocolate.

    (however, Andes contain partially hydrogenated oils (boo). Trader Joe's has dark chocolate mint UFOs -- much better)!

    The fruit fly one works on gnats too. And if you have gnats that like the drain of your sink, pour vinegar down there.

    24. Get Rid of Ants - Put small piles of cornmeal where you see ants. They eat it, take it 'home,' can't digest it so it kills them. It may take a week or so, especially if it rains, but it works and you don't have the worry about pets or small children being harmed!

    Another way to kill ants is to sprinkle Splenda (not sure about other artificial sweeteners) on their mounds. They eat it and can't digest it, so they die. Kinda like the cornmeal. Safe for people/pets, but deadly for the ants.
