I know this is probably a dumb question but what does the net mean of calories consumed?

Calorie intake - calories burned = net0

Well, you have so many net calories to eat a day.... if you do exercise and log it it'll show you approximately how many calories you burned... It takes the total of calories burned and adds it to your daily total of food intake...
So say you have 1600 calories that you can consume but you do 600 calories worth of exercise... your total calorie intake should be around 2200 if you do eat back all of your calories.
The net calories is the 2200 calories or however many you do eat minus the 600 calories of exercise.... and your total is your net calories which should be 16000
