getting back on track

My name is Lindsay. Last Sept while my husband was deployed I decided to get healthy. Since then I have lost 75 lbs and maintaining above 200. My starting weight was 275.4 and I range from 200 at the lowest to 202.5 depending on the week. I had a goal to get below 200 in April which didn't happen but I lost 63 lbs during the 7 months my husband was deployed. I am trying to get back on track and making sure I lose this weight. We are also trying for our first child. Just looking for encouragement and support as I lose the next ~60 lbs to my goal unless I get pregnant which will only put it to the side for a little bit. I will reach my goal because I am tired of being overweight. Thanks!

Congrats on your achievement so far. Keep up the good work and you'll reach your goal. Good luck on becoming a mom too.

I hear ya, I tore two ligaments in one knee last year and then messed up my back a couple of months later. In terms of getting off track, I gained 40 lbs during the rest period and can't play hockey anymore which was my main exercise. Due to a crazy winter I put on another 20...

It can be done, we've all seen it. I'm currently hovering at 240lbs with little or no effort to lose weight but my goal is 215lbs which would be pretty nice on my frame.

Here's to our eventual shared success!

Well done on your loss so far. You've done really well.

I also think it's really important to know you *can* maintain - it's important to learn how to do that, and now you know that when you reach your goal, you're able to maintain a lower weight.

Congratulations, and good luck with the next stage.
