Hi there, considering getting one but not sure if it's really worth all the $$$ :-O Would love to hear your thoughts or experience, if you have one or have looked into it!

FYI, what I hope it will help with is training, mainly speedwork type stuff. Right now, I already use Nike+ on my iPhone and have an old Polar HRM. This will replace my HRM, but I'll probably still need my iPhone as my music-player and Nike+ tracker.

Cheers, Iz

I think it's not worth the money. My 405CX does intervals just fine - you can set them by speed or distance and you can program rest intervals in as well - chose how many repeats you want and the like. I can see the touch screen being a problem. It's probably too early to really get a good review on the 610 though. I would suggest looking at the forums over at Garmin to see if anything is there!

I have a 405CX which I love and seems to be $100 less (or more if you find a good deal on it). They seem very similar to me. Not sure how they differ....

Yea- I just got a 305 (i think they are at about $130 now) and I am in love with it, despite its size (it's rather big, but I don't notice it).
