break through

I had a break through of sorts -it may seem obvious to most but to me it had been lost.

I seem to have this constant need to feel full and even when i have dinner plans I eat a snack while waiting to go out and eat some of my dinner but am often too full for it so eat 2/3 of the meal (bet people wonder if she never finishes how come she is so big?)

However yesterday I had a late lunch meeting and was going to snack when I thought - why ruin the meal you are about to have?

I snacked so much before my dinner last week that I was too full to enjoy my pad thai which i was so looking forward too...why do I ruin nice meals with rubbish foods???
I think something has finally clicked in my brain - I do not need so much food and I can survive feeling hungry for a few hours until my next delicious meal.....

The exact same thing happened to me last week! I finally said to myself that there was no need for this mindless eating when I'm looking forward to a full healthy meal. Exactly like you said, why spoil it? :)
