arrrggghhhh.........
I had perviously been at a standstill with my weight loss for a really long time. Ok, I was close to my original goal weight. But now the scale is moving up and up and I thought it would be just a couple of days type of thing and go away. Not the case.
I don't know what to do and it's super dicouraging to see all my hard work slowly being erased. Which in turn makes me ruin my work even further with the thinking that if I am already gaining, why not enjoy some food?
Sorry to be such a downer today and I truly hope I can turn things around.

maybe you should just take a couple of weeks off, no exercise and just eat healthily, don't go mad or anything but just chill a bit. then you can get back into it and your body might respond better ?0

Oh gosh! I am right there with you! For me - it's no mystery: if I eat more than 1200 calories, I gain weight, pure & simple - even WITH huge amounts of exercise. But - who can stick to this regimen for very long without going NUTS????
I think maybe it's time to spend some time in meditation.... Calming & soothing & re-committing.
Good luck!!!0 -
I've been there many times and I know the feeling. I've lost sleep over it, no lie.
Can you put emotion aside and take a serious look at / evaluate what it is that might be causing the scale to go up? Identify one or two things you can change right away, such as snacking only on fruits and veggies, drinking more water, or sneaking in an extra 20-30 minutes of exercise in per day?
You look fabulous and you've has super results thus far. Don't let it slip away! It's worth fighting for.0 -
It's normal that your scale can stand still for a while. Your body has to get used to the new-you so that's maybe why it's going so crazy at the moment. I would say stick to your programm eat a lovely fruit-salad to give you energy and drink green tea to get some of the "hiding water" out of you. Still exercise as you usually do and don't go on the damn scale for a few days. Just keep it up ! Because this is normally the moment where a looooot of people give up !0

Totally with you on that one, I've been good this week although not as much exercise as I would like due to family and work commitments - seem to have gained 2lb this week !!
Am going to try to keep to 1200 for the next 7 days with at least 4 days of exercise and see if that makes a difference.
Keep going, you'll get there just takes our bodies a while to take the hint and realise what they should be doing0 -
Maybe your body is saying it likes where it is or wants it to have a few more pounds on it...from your picture you look awesome...not sure where else you would lose it without looking all boney.
Love yourself today...celebrate your body and your youth...someday you'll back and wonder why you didn't.0 -
Thanks for the words of encouragement! I needed it! I'm going to keep pressing on. Even if the scale goes up, I am a healthier person if I watch what I eat and work out on a regular basis.
This is ALWAYS where I give up and gain it all back. NOT THIS TIME! I'm gonna stick it out. The end of October will mark one year since I began this journey and I intend to reach my one year anniversary and still be going strong!0
