So this has probably been discussed before, but I am new to mountain biking. Any tips as to how to get over all those roots and logs, both uphill and downhill??
Thanks

Welcome, you’ll love it. Start by rolling over those obstacles. Have your front tire contact perpendicular in relation to the obstacle and, using your dominant leg, power the crank down to get over.
There are lots of very descriptive videos on YouTube to help you get over logs. I would suggest jumping the obstacles if you’re going downhill. Just more fun.0
