Same weight evening vs morning?

Just for the heck of it, I weighed myself last night about 8 pm (after my walking/jogging at the track for an hour, then 20 min. bike ride home) and I was 153. I weighed myself this morning when I got up and I was STILL 153. !! I thought maybe I had lost another pound or two since I was 153 last night, but I didn't ! I'm so bummed! I slept for 8-1/2 hrs last night. (1am to 9:30) . How come I didn't "lose" those "day pounds" that we all seem to gain? Was it the work out? I was excited last night. I think I hit my plateau, I've been at 153-4 for almost two weeks.

I normally weigh more in a morning,my weight goes down through the day. people are different don't stress it.0

I usually weigh less in the morning but I never see a big change until a week or more goes by.0

If you ate a heavy OR salty meal last night and did not drink enough water throughout the day this can happen. I notice my weight is higher on the mornings following a heavy meal.0

I always way like three pounds more at night haha. Weighing yourself daily (let alone multiple times daily!) will drive you nuts.0

True but studies show its a good strategy to make sure you don't slip. So it does drive me bonkers, but I feel like if I didn't do it, I'd probably start eating worse.
As for the morning weight being the same, you weighed yourself right after a workout when you were dehydrated and artificially low. You probably gained some weight from replacing fluids and then lost the equivalent weight in fat over night, with the end result being a wash0 -
Ok, the meal.. right. I forgot. I hadn't worked out since Saturday and I skipped 4 days. (I normally skip 3 since my son is home) I was light headed yesterday after walking/jogging 3 miles. First time that's ever happened and I had already drank 5 glasses of water so far that day. I thought it was because I didn't have enough protein, so I had some flounder last night when I got home. I bet that did it. Except I ate that after I weighed myself. Oh well.
I do ok weighing myself often. I'm a stickler for details and such, and I like to see how my weight fluctuates. I like to see what changes my weight and what doesn't. I normally gain 2 lbs during the day and lose it by morning. with clothes on it's 4 lbs. Even a t-shirt adds 3/4, 1lb, lol. It's amazing how much stuff weighs.
Even losing one pound would have been nice tho, lol. 150 is my pre-preg. weight! (and my son is 9! hahahaha)0 -
I can generally count on 3-4 pounds LESS in the morning than just before bed. But, I only get that if I get a full 8 hours of sleep. Sometimes I weigh myself the night before my official weigh-in to get a peek at what I might have in store for my week's loss... I know, it's like looking to the end of a book when you're in the midst of it, but I've been trying harder not to weigh myself every day... and, that's not going so well, so give me a break when it comes to checking the night before! :laugh:0

Happened to me last night/this morning, too! I was upset this morning to see the same number as last night. I usually guage what I should be the next morning by the night before weight. Sucks to see the same number when I regularly see a 3+ lb difference...:ohwell:0
