Just because you are away from home does not mean you cannot do your workouts. At the end of May I started Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. I was worried that I would not continue through my week off in July. So my brain started working out and I purchased the 30DS through iTunes and I put it on my iPhone and I was able to continue my days while camping and at a hotel. I completed the 30DS the July 22nd, 16 lbs lighter and 14 inches thinner.
Since then, I have purchased other Jillian Michaels workouts through iTunes and now I can keep my fitness time going through anytime away from home.
Even if you are not doing an exercise DVD...no excuses...you have your legs and you can just walk. Walking is a great form of exercise. You are in control of your intensity.
So go on, enjoy yourself this summer and remember to stay focused on your goal, because you are worth it.

I`m going on vacation in two weeks and already called ahead to make sure our hotel has a fitness room that I can use or else I was planning to take the kids mini dvd player lol ( I don`t have an iphone). But the Hotel dose in fact have one so I`ll be hitting that in the morning before my hubby gets up so that its not interupting any fun plans for the week and I still get my workout in0 -
Right on. when I have to travel for work now. I pack my activity shoes and clothes. Before I would just eat in the hotel. Now I at least force myself to get out and walk to a restaurant. And I find if I pack the activity clothes I feel kind of silly if I don't getting around to using them on my trip, so that keeps me motivated too.
So there is always something small we can do to stay on the wagon when out of our usual comforts.0
