Staying on Track

So I have found that many days I will go "a little" over my calories for the day. How do many of you stay on track and keep your calorie count where it needs to be? :)

    How much is a little over? If it is just 50 or so calories, seriously don't worry about it. Your body won't even notice the difference. If it is a couple of hundred, then you probably need to make different choices on the types of food that you eat. Then you can eat just as much, but it will have less of a caloric impact on your day.
  • I am pretty good at staying under my calories every day, but only because I have a cheat meal on Friday, where I dont so much worry about the calories (I still log every one of them though) so I'm always over on that day! Looking forward to that day keeps me in check the rest of the time.
  • NaomiLyn15: Yes it's usually just like 50-75 cals over.. I wasn't sure if it was such a big deal but thank you for your input :-)
