Making the Cut workout -- calories?

How many calories do you log when you do a working from Jillian Michaels' book Making the Cut? I have no idea how much I'm burning; I know that my heartrate gets up there really high and I feel like I am working so hard... but I rest a bit more than I should because I'm still trying to figure out some of the exercises. Once I put it in as "toning and strength exercises with little or no rest in between" or something, and it came out as like 400 come calories... but I think that's too high. So then I entered it as "weight lifting/ weight training" and it wasn't even 200 calories, so I think(?) that's too low. I'm *thinking* it's about 300 calories for 45 minutes, but I don't know what I base that on other than feeling, so I'd like to check it against what you guys think!

You need to get a heart rate monitor. They will tell you everything you need to know regardless what workout you do. They can be expensive, but a great investment.0

I have a heart rate monitor on my Garmin. But my Garmin doesn't tell me my calories when I'm not moving from one place to another LOL. My Garmin was expensive and I thought it did everything, but I guess not!
I will look into them, thanks.0 -
It takes me about 35-45 minutes depending on the day, and I always guess it to be about 300 or so, it's definitely more than regular strength training, but less than constant cardio. Under exercise if you enter "circuit training, general" and put in your minutes, it comes to 307 for 35 min. and 395 for 45.0

Oh, that's what I was looking for, thanks Angie!! I need to get faster at the workout LOL. I am down to 45 - 50 minutes from initially an hour and ten minutes. Ha ha.0
