does anyone take any pre or post workout supplements? The only thing I take is either a protein shake after weight lifting or a recovery drink to replenish electrolytes after a long run. With my weight loss, i would like to maintain muscle mass and definition if that makes sense.

Are supplements worth all the hype? Or is there validity in them?
