So I just ate lunch. I made a ham and cheese w/ raspberry honey mustard on light wheat- toasted. yum. I wanted something to go with it. I picked up chips and though- no, I want something sweet and soft- so I got sugar free jello pudding snack and 100 cal brownies - 10 cals more then the chips- I then realized that I did not want that either- I ended up eating blueberry apple sauce and a banana with honey.

I was eating it and I was thinking I put down chips and two chocolate items for fruit?!? When did this happen?! I chose fruit over chocolate and chips?!?! and with the honey my sweet tooth was taken care of!

Did anyone else have any moments like this today??

A month ago, I found myself eating a banana instead of a sugar free chocolate pudding. I felt proud of myself for that choice. Plus the banana made me feel happier than what the chocolate pudding could have done.

Sorry if that sounded weird, but it's true.

I do that all the time with fruit or yogurt.. I love it!

Yesterday I was soo hungry but I didn't know what to eat so I just poured a serving of cereal with not even half a glass of skim milk & and an apple - 200 cals and I was full. Before I would have poured the whole bowl and a full cup of milk (about 300-400 cals?) and been like hmm I want something sweet now .. yum i think there's brownies in the kitchen (another 300 cals? + added sugar)! No wonder I was gaining weight like it was cool!

I'm still a choco-holic. I eat a chocolate flavored protein bar almost every day, and I absolutely CAN NOT resist when my boss has chocolate pieces on her desk. I love fruit, though, and I always have. So I just don't keep much chocolate around the house, and I'm fine snacking on the fruit or yogurt.

I just ate a nectarine and it hit the spot! So yummy, I actually never realized how good they were before today, and so worth 64 calories!

great job! I'm sitting at work craving my usual post-lunch sweet fix, and instead of grabbing a couple Hershey kisses like I usually do, I found myself craving the grapes I have in the fridge! those bad cravings are slowly but surely going away :)
