Are My Shoes Worn Out Already?

I need some help, please.

I bought a nice pair of Asics stability cushioned running shoes in mid-June. I used them just for running and walking and they felt great. Then several weeks ago I started using them for various cardio and strength-training classes at the gym.

In the last couple weeks I've noticed that my feet are feeling uncomfortable after I get into the workout. It's hard to explain how they feel, not quite pain, no specific areas, just an all-over rubbing/tingly kind of feeling. It really distracts and takes away from the workout. It is uncomfortable during running, as well.

I didn't think my shoes could be worn out already, but I don't see another explanation. Also, I don't think I've ever really worn out a pair of shoes so I don't know what the signs are.

Thanks for any help!

Edit: Forgot to mention that I lace them very loosely now and it doesn't help.
