A newcomer ... but not really ...

Okay, so I've actually been a member of MFP since February 2010 and I stuck around for a while, but then I kind of faded away and didn't get on here for months. Then in March of this year, I started working out and monitoring my foods with a renewed determination and desire to really make a difference. I was logging my foods in a spreadsheet when I remembered MFP and I was like "Duh!" ... so now I'm back and I realized that I never did get around to introducing myself way back when.
I have the added challenge of being in a wheelchair, so I'm limited to an extent on the exercises I can do but even so, there are still *plenty* of exercises available to me. I'm working out with free weights, I installed a pull-up bar in my home, and I bought a MagneTrainer mini exercise bike for my cardio routines. My employer also offers a "wellness" incentive by awarding points when we log our workouts and those points can in turn be traded in for merchandise, so I'm working my way towards a nice new weight bench.
And since I can't really weigh myself (wheelchair scales cost upwards of $250), I'm using my measurements as my goals. Fortunately, I did add my starting measurements back last year when I initially joined and I've already lost 2" on my waist and gained 2.5" on my chest ... Woo Hoo!!
Anyway, just wanted to say "Hi" to everyone and let you all know that I truly enjoy reading all of your informative and encouraging posts ... and feel free to friend me!

I've been in your part of the country ... quite a few years back I visited Seattle ... went out to Snoqualmie Falls even. It's SO beautiful out there. I absolutely loved it!0

I have lived in the greater Seattle area all of my life. I love visiting other places, but it is always great coming back home. Snoqualmie Falls is definitely one of the best spots to visit. I have been there several times and it is gorgeous. :-)0
