What do you think/know are the leanest cuts of ribs? I love ribs, but I usually just buy what's on sale.

Do you prefer pork or beef ribs? How do you like to prepare them?

Ribs aren't lean at all. Still just buy what is on sale and carefully portion out your serving. It is very easy to put away many calories worth of ribs!

    "Lean Ribs" don't exist. Period.

When it comes to Ribs and all the fixin's I usually consider it a cheat day and be sure to exercise to minimize the large number of calories consumed.

gush, I do love ribs. Especially pork.
But yes, there's a lot of calories: baby back ribs (approx. 2 ribs)=230 calories.
I try to cut the calories by using rubs instead of sweet sauce. But that way the ribs are "crispier" you don't get a fall-out-the-bone ribs. I don't mind. Still delicious.

That's fair. I figured that there were different types/cuts that had less calories than other cuts, so I suppose that 's what I meant by lean.

I prefer my ribs without sauce, and just seasonings :) BBQ'd then baked in the oven.

Of course, if you try to remove the fat from the rib, obviously, there is less fat.
IMO, what's the worst with eating ribs is that most of the time people have potatoes.
So I try to have grilled veggies instead, or a tabouleh salad with plenty of tomatoes and parsley.
