Hi all. I started MFP Monday. I do not want to rely on pre-packaged foods to get my cals right and tonight I made up a little recipe. I would love help figuring out how to log it of if someone could figure out the calories in a one-cup serving. This is what is in my recipe:

2 Cups Organic Quinoa
1 Can Tex-Mex Tomatoes (14.5 ounce can/3.5 servings @ 30 cals)
1 and 1/3 Cup Weight Watchers Cheese (1/3 cup is serv. size/80 cals per serving)
Sauteed Zucchini (about 2 large--done in organic E.V.O.O)
A small amount of tomato sauce and salsa

It's all getting mixed up in layers....quinoa w/ tomato mixture and layers of the zucchini and cheese.

I was wondering if anyone could help come up with cals per 1 cup serving?

Under the food tab, use the "recipes" section and it will help you log it properly.
  • Thanks. I did not realize I could do that. I don't know exactly how many it can feed as it is my first time making it, but I estimated 6 (which is pretty big servings) and it came out to only 190 calories per serving. Awesome. Thank you so much for the help. I appreciate it!
