I can squat down and pick something off the floor holding a child in my arms, and get back up.

I love sitting indian style, that is the only way I sit when I am on the couch or floor, it is so comfy! Somehow even when I was 260 I could sit that way, haha.

    Enjoy!

hmm I think there are a couple things...LOL

-Put on at least 2 pairs of pants that I bought wore once and then couldnt fit into for 2 years...now they are on the verge of being too big
-resist almost any temptation without a second thought or hesitation (this coming from the girl who could woof down a box of little debbies quicker than you could blink I havent had them in 3 months..I have found comfort in better things)
-be an inspiration to others to take care of their body
-get excited about exercise...especially KICKBOXING! lol

They may sound lame but they are things I couldnt do before lol

Pretty cool, huh? I have been doing things I havent done for years. I am almost ready to try a cartwheel! I am going to ask my hubby to help me do a handstand.
  • I can stand straight then bend over and touch my toes without bending my knees...I can glide on the elliptical for thirty minutes, when I started, I could only last 2 minutes....

    Wow...very impressive ladies.:flowerforyou:

Let's see I can walk a 1/4 mile in under 6 min. when it took me 12 when I started. I can go up a flight of steps without being out of breath. The best...I can talk while I'm walking at a brisk pace, hubby maybe wishes I couldn't. Maybe I go for very brisk...LOL

    A few things for me:
    1) Turn my nose up at the cream cakes - these used to be my best friends, I just had one, after 2 months without, and all I can say is YUCK! I wish I hadn't even bothered, ended up giving half of it to the dogs. Now, I would never ever share them before, but you know what, I can safely say they are no longer friends of mine
    2) Bend down and touch my toes, now this one I have not managed for around 5 years, but I can now do it and talk my son's through it too
    3) Walk up hill without needing my inhaler at the top, I used to gasp for air at the top, and be unable to breath properly for about 10 minutes after, but I can now power walk up the hill, and talk at the same time.
    4) Say goodbye to size 22 & 24 clothes, i'm now in a 20, and that's too big! I'm going out in a few weeks to buy a size 18 YAY !!!! :drinker:
    5) I get a lot less stressed now, when faced with stressful situations, I either laugh at it or walk away from it, I used to go mad and shake as though I had some kind of nervous disorder.
    6) Wrap my bath sheet around me - it was always too short, but now it fits lovely, and I can sit in front of the tv in it!!!!!

Bought a size 12 skirt today (was an 18)
Bought a medium sized shirt (was an XL)
Did a front fold during TJ & nearly had my palms flat on the ground
I can run up & down the stairs without having to catch my breath at the top.

I need to go try sitting indian style now, though! You've inspired me (again), Jeannie!

I am wearing a bracelet that I found in my grandmother's jewelry box. When she was alive I used to love going through her jewelry boxes with her, and there was one tiny silver bracelet with a heart charm on it that I always wanted, and she would have given it to me but it never fit my wrist. I'm wearing it!

And, tonight while I was at Wal-Mart sulking because of a bad evening, I bought myself a necklace (for the first time I didn't buy Ben and Jerry's but bought a small token instead to make me feel better). I never used to buy necklaces at Wal-Mart because they were never long enough to fit around my neck comfortably without my double chins hanging over them and making them impossible to see. Tonight I bought one without trying it on first...and when I got it hope I realized that I don't even need the extender! The necklace is long enough on its own!
