Fiber one 80 cal cereal

So I started eating the Fiber one cereal with 80 calories, had it 4x this week. the correct serving with skim, but man did my belly hurt! has anyone else found that it really makes you have to go to the bathroom like 20x/day?! It seems like its just running all the fat out which is great but.... remember when those chips and Alli pills were a problem for some people... i feel like this is the same!? i just want to know if anyone else is having the same problems?

Fiber does that but naturally. Your body will get used to the increase and adjust hopefully. I got sick in the beginning from all the fruit, veggies, and fiber and now i do pretty well0

Everyone seems to need a diffrent amount of fiber. I joined weight watchers for a while and their points are lower for foods that are high in fiber.....and after a time my stomach was diffently feeling the effect. Fiber helps regulate both ways, (if you know what I mean) but you have to listen to your body. It shouldn't makeyou feel that upset. I also noticed that fiber one is really high in carbs, and I was told by my walking instructor that you should eat a breakfast that is higher in protein not carbs, because your body has had all night to digest and wants to store what it eats first thing in the morning. Compared other cerals it is a really good choice, and nice when you are in a hurry. I usally eat a yogurt, then exercise, then have a slim fast, just sharing what works for me. Good luck.0

It makes me constipated bad in the past. But I learned you drink lots of water.0

Mix it with special K with protein 1/2 cup - & drink water.

i mix it in my greek yogurt every morning. Never had issues, but I am used to eating a high fiber diet. Your body should get used to it eventually. It has 10 grams of fiber in it, so if you arent used to that much fiber at once...0

I eat fiber one cereal and fiber one bars, along with a lot of other sources of fiber. The only outcome I have gotten has been great. It gives me much larger, yet softer, and easier to pass stool. I guess I can see that the cereal could have this negative effect, but I love the way it works for me. I eat the fiber one raisin bran.0

I hit my fiber intake goals every day and drink a ton of water and I'm having problems with constipation. I've always ate a high fiber diet though and have never had problems until now. Any ideas?0

Instead of Fiber One cereal 4x a week, try to switch up with different foods of fiber. There's a ton out there! Eating the same cereal everyday gives your body lack of excitement so it becomes bored and you'll hit a plateau. Mix it up!0
