    It'll be okay.
Just learn from, do a little research on various places you go. That way you'll know in advance some better options.

I went WAY over today too.
It was my lax day. It reminds me why I need to keep on track and why I don't want to eat like that again.

Just learn from today and then tomorrow when you get up just get back to normal eating and maybe do a little exercise and you will feel better.

    Keep up the good work!!!!!

Don't beat yourself up. I went over today too. I waited too long to eat and then I was ravenous so I ate way more than I needed too and did not make healthy choices. But, the way I see it, the next meal is a new chance and tomorrow is a new day. Even if we make an unhealthy choice early in the day we can make up for it by making a healthier choice later. Did I give in and have that muffin at the staff meeting? Then I'll have a nice big salad (no cheese or croutons though) with a light dressing for lunch. I also find it helpful to make my breakfast more like what most people consider dinner and then have a breakfast like dinner because I tend to crave sweets at night. So I like to have minestrone soup for breakfast with a few scrabbled egg whites added in for extra protein and then have fruit and cereal for dinner. It seems to help. Good luck. And just remember, we all have our moments when we indulge. We are human after all.

Ya know, ya just started......give yaself a break, wouldja???

    LOL

You will get it. There is much to learn and we didnt learn it over night.

You just started and are getting things in control.

I think control was my first issue. I would ask my self. "Self" I would say "Is this something you would reccommend to your best friend at this moment?" If the answer was no
I would then think, "Well your your own best friend and just as worth it as so and so!"

Example. I started in June and family came into town on 4th of July. I had lost 5 pounds or so and was feeling hot, baby. Of course there is food, beer, soda, chips, dip and all the other goodies for 7 straight days.(I didnt eat any of it, brought my veggies and stuff)

Well you gott know, I met my DH while working at Pizza Hut. His entire family worked there at some point. Of course we have to order some pizza.

I took control and said I would order. Large Pan Super Supreme. Large Pan Extra Pepperoni and Cheese. I order a large thin, light cheese, light sauce, all veggies. EWWWWWWWWWW they all say, a waste of a good pizza they all comment. Oh, the boys wont TOUCH that sh++. Ok so all the garbage is gone...only my lonely pizza is sitting on the table. I had 2 pcs and am feeling very satisfied with MY choice. FOR ME! anyway the boys are 7 and 9, they come up to me and say Aunt J why cant we have your pizza? I said you most certainly can have as much as you want. I sit the 2 of them down, give them each a slice and they say WOW aunt j this is so good, can we have more! The baby even said it wasnt yucky on the top like the other (grease!) The whole family looked on in amazement that they ate the veggie pizza. I made my neice PROMISE she would order this way for them.

So make a new choice each day. Before you know it, it will be 5 months from now and you will be posting how YOU lost 25 pounds!!

I dont know if anyone else noticed. But when I have my off days...I feel that I eat way over what I should. Well I do as far as calories but when I think about it, its probably only a 1/3 of what I would have eatten on a normal day before I changed my way of eating. I try not to beat myself up to much and it actually makes my next day alot easy to handle. I usually get what ever was that I wanted out of my system (or rather in my system)  and feel much better. I dont eat enough to gain . Good luck to all and dont be so hard on yourselves...just dont let to many off days go by and dont do anything about it. JoAnn
