Taking partner's opinion into account

I am 3 lbs off my goal (at least, I was when I last weighed, 3 weeks ago), and I still think I have some weight to lose. I talked to my husband about lowering my target weight, and he said he didn't think I should lose any more, and I should be looking to maintain now. His reasoning is that he says I look like my skin is half a size too big for me and hasn't caught up with my weight loss yet.

Does your skin eventually catch up? Or am I doomed to sagginess? And do you take your partner's views on your weight into account, or do what you want? I am thinking 125 lbs might make me feel better. I look fine at 133, but there is still clearly weight that could be lost IMO.

Your skin should catch up to you. It takes a little while, but if you make sure you are exercising, using moisturizers and taking care of that skin it should bounce back just fine. Maybe not perfect but it will be much better...

Sure it will catch up. But if it's a concern it might be better to maintain for a month, and then get back into weight loss after that if you still feel inclined to. I just did that and my boobs are thanking me for it.

i probably would take it into account, especially if he said something so straight up as hes said to you, although that would knock my confidence a bit :(

If you really want to lose a bit more though and you think youd feel more comfortable slightly lower, then keep going, or tell him youll stop at your original goal?
