NSV and update

Good morning!

I sure had a great a morning today. I decided to weigh-in this morning......I've lost a total of 81 pounds and I am now less than 20 pounds away from my goal weight of 155. That's exciting for me! I've been working over 2 years to get here. Between weight watchers, a 6 month plateau that discouraged me from weigh loss, and now MFP, I've finally been able to lose the weight I wanted to a year ago!

I also had an NSV last night while laying on the chase in my living room I realized I found my HIP BONE! I started giggling to myself and the boyfriend asked what was so funny..... I said " I indeed have hip bones, not just fat surrounding them" I was soooooo excited to see that! He always looks at me funny when I notice things like.. the gap between my thighs that is now about a half an inch, or the fact that I can see my toes when I stand up straight or even the fact that I can see my collar bone is more pronounced... But those are the things that keep us going...... RIGHT!?

    Congratulations, and thanks for posting! I've been a little worried about what happens if a reach a long plateau before I hit my goal weight, but you've proved what you can get through the plateau with patience and persistence. You've done an excellent job!

    That's a really great post, and a fantastic achievement as well. I too keep noticing new (or old) things about my body, bits I haven't seen for many a year, and even tho I know I still have a really long way to go, the little things keep me as motivated as seeing the scale move.

    Good luck with the rest of your journey, I'm sure you'll reach your goal before you know it. :happy:

    you are doing GREAT! that's awesome how long you have persisted. its become a lifestyle for you, which is fantastic!
