p90x and p90x plus

What is the difference? Do you use the plus with the original version or is it a stand alone series? Thanks!

    Am starting p90X in a week, after vacation, but my nephew has done p90X and is now on p90X+, which seems to be the next step in the series, so I think it is a stand-alone series.

    P90X+ is a stand alone series for P90X graduates.

    Just takes everything to a WHOLE other level from what I understad.
