How could i improve??

Hello,I find it hard to do weights as I am really weak and not got alot of muscle,Is there any tips you can give me to get better and stronger???

    I started with basic calisthenics i.e. Push ups, sit ups etc

    Start with what you can handle and build from there, if you can not do at least 6 reps without gritting your teeth and pulling or pushing for dear life then you are to heavy, the most common mistake I come across for those whom start a weight program is that they lift to heavy to quickly. You want to slow down the motions to eliminate the momentum, controlled lifting and you should only feel a burn in the muscle at the last 3 - 4 reps if you are starting out. Just remember that to build muscle you need to feed for that goal so higher protein, especially post workout to build that muscle.
