Hi everyone! I'm new to MFP and to the message boards, but definitely not new to trying to lose weight. The difference this time is I am looking to make some real, life-long changes rather than just looking for a diet.

Good for you !! Diets, as such, with a listing of things you must eat at each meal are for most people not the way to go. The food diary lets you eat more of the foods you are comfortable with, then you check calorie counts and portion sizes and this will lead to success with your program. Do not get in a hurry to lose alot of pounds because it is unhealthy, slow and steady is much better and your looks will not suffer. So many people who lose too much, too quickly, wind up with saggy skin and it does nothing for your face and neck. Good luck with your program, just be patient. FG0
