I live in Austin, Texas, and right now it is WAY too hot to run outside, so I've been running inside on my treadmill. Unfortunately though, running on a treadmill is super boring. So I did a little searching on the internet and found this great treadmill workout. I got it from www.fitnessmagazine.com.*

*A small disclaimer... it claims to burn 300 calories for the 20 minute workout. It doesn't. At least not for me (I am 5'4'' and 135 pounds). But I repeated it twice, and I burned 364 calories in 40 minutes, plus I NEVER got bored and it was a fun challenge.

0:00-3:00 3.0 1

I just play Madden 2011 on my xbox 360 while walking 3.5mph on a 4 degree incline. Gives me a good workout after about 45 minutes which is one game.

I'm in Fort Worth and we're on out 38th day in a row of over 100 temps most of which have been 106-108 so, I know that heat beat down too!! I was in New Braunfels this past weekend roasting away as well.. .Thank you for posting this workout, it will definitely give me a little change up because I too am getting bored.
