I was really doing great exercising for about 3 months...walking 3 miles 5X a week and exercising at the gym 3-4Xa week...and then I started getting soreness on my right side which led to muscle and joint aches on same side, then thigh pain and calf cramps. Cramping occured at least once an hour for about 2 weeks. I stopped exercising. My doctor checked me and said bloodwork good, no Lyme disease from a tick, but it showed increased inflamation in my body. He did not know cause, but said
rest for a few weeks. So I have been. Cramping is considerably less, only cramping once in a few days, I really want to get back
to exercising....how can I do this safely...any weight lifters or runners out there who can give advice?

I've always heard you need potassium to help with cramps - try eating a banana before your workout - or maybe before and after workout - hope it helps...
