Can you do ChaLean Extreme properly with resistance bands?

Have been reading lotsof bits re strength training to help with changing body shape etc. I have ChaLean Extreme but other than one small set of dumbells and a set of 5 resistance bands, no weights.
The resistance bands are graded from 10lbs to 50lbs in "weight" though I suppose resistance will depend on how the band is stretched etc.
Has anyone done ChaLean using resistance bands not adjustable weights and did you get the same or good results?

Never used resistance bands or ChaLean, but I use P90X and they have someone on resistance bands everytime. You just have to do the full range of motion. Someone on the video should show you how to properly use them.0

My partner uses the bands for ChaLean Extreme and has made good progress with them. I use them for certain exercises in P90x as well. They work really well and are very adjustable, if it's too weak just make a loop at the bottom of the band when you stand on it or increase the distance between you and the bottom of the band. It's worth getting a decent sized set as the weakest ones are really weak for some exercises.
Only downside I have with the bands is that they offer differing range of resistance dependant on the position of the arm during the set, so at the beginning of a bicep curl they are really easy and at the end they are really hard. Proper dumbbells usually offer near equal resistance throughout the range of motion for the exercise.0 -

I was wondering about that with bands - and unless you know exactly how/where you held or stepped on it it will presumably be different every time, whereas a weight is a weight...
I will carry on and see how it goes anyway as the bands are better than doing nothing0
