weight lifting calories

When I put in my weight lifting for the exercise, it does not calculate the amount of calories burned and all that like it does for the running and jogging I do. How come, and how do I account for the calories burned?

search for it under cardiovascular exercises, "strenght training"0

You would have to add it as cardio work too. Depending on how you lift the calorie expenditure over your normal BMR may not be significant.
If I do an intense workout for an hour my HRM shows 300 burned, just sitting at my desk for an hour I will burn just over 100 for a net gain of 2000
