Well lets see I am 43, with a 3 year old and a 9 year old lol.I have never been tiny so to speak but around a size 9 suits my body type well, I am top heavy so if I get below that the balance would just be off. I am 5'2 1/2 right now I weigh 217lbs. I started diet attempt 680,000 lol just about 2 weeks ago. And basically increased my fiber and protein and large quantities of water...GOT RID OF MY COCA COLA(that was/is the roughest part), and no white bread...all whole wheat if any and shot for 1200 calories a day.

I have lost 12lbs so far. Woohooo about 60 left to Go to hit my Goal weight.

I have got to find a way to work in some exercise, I have a quite decorative very expensive treadmill at home and Got my Zumba fitness collection but never seem to be able to muster up the energy to get them done. I have always loved to walk. Before the baby I, 3 year old now lol, I was doing 4 miles in about 45 minutes and felt a hundred times better. Physically and emotionally.
Since the baby I don't know if it's my age or what but I don't have the energy I used.
My husband is having to work out of time so it's basically me and the kids I work 12hr shifts 7 out of 14 days...which usually turn into 14 hr shifts. I am a nurse I specialize in Alzheimer and geriatrics...I know I take care of everyone but my self. So whatever work out I do has to be from home so I don't have to spend any more time away from them then I already do.

My greatest struggles...quick food and cokes has been my main stay since I went back to work...and always I guess. I am not a big eater I actually have a hard time when I am working getting the 1200 cal in...but when I get off work it hits me between 6p and 7p I am starving. I have been squelching it with an 8oz can of tomato juice, seems to fill me. But it takes very few seconds of the kids screaming for pizza or a burger or whatever at 8pm a night( yes no matter what time they eat at the sitter they are starving as soon as the see me.) For me to be ready to indulge...now mind you I am oka with a couple of bites of whatever and takes care of it...but it makes me insane I do good all day then at the worst time of the day to eat crap I am famished. So
I feel deprived. Which just sucks. I go to bed thinking about mashed potatoes gravy and red meat. If I had it in the house I would be in trouble.

Oh well I have never been a big eater. I am a nibbler and Coca Cola.. When I work I was grabbing a burger and a coke on my break. Became my main stay. It I get stressed or tired I crave chocolate and coca cola( a quick boost I know)...sad mashed potatoes and gravy( comfort food I know). That's what got me here. And have to find a way out of it and to never let it return..

So anybody with hint I am all in...

1) Energy crash/Generalized Fatigue
2) Night time starvation
3) and for whatever reason lots of indigestion since the diet started( what is that all about)
4) Make me work out lol

I want to do this Need to do this for me and my kids. I I feel better about my self everyone is happier( including my husband lol), and Mommy healthy so she can keep up with the little ones as well she did her older kids in her 20s...Oh what a wonderful world it would be. Ahhhh and then at 60 I want the grand kids chasing after me...lol.

I am tired of saying" I am just so tired" and that being the excuse to indulge in whatever food I want whenever I want aahhh and Coca Cola and for curling up on the couch instead of going out side to play.

So pleased to meet all of you...

Tamie
