My weight fluctuates a lot...like from yesterday morning to this morning, I "lost" 5.6 pounds...and I did nothing different from normal...I even ate a piece of cake. haha my weight can go up and down by as much as 12 pounds over the course of a week. And my stomach will bloat 6-7 inches. Is this normal? I'm thinking it's probably related to my bowel issues. I told the gastroenterologist and he acted like it was weird that I measure my stomach. Is it really that weird? :blushing: I didn't think it was weird...

I, too, have always been told 3-5 pounds of fluctuation is normal due to fluid. Now, I had surgery two weeks ago and left the hospital 13.5 pounds heavier than I went in, but it's all gone now and then some - BUT that is definitely an exception. I don't think 12 pounds is "normal", did you explain to your Dr why you do your measurements? To track weight loss and track your fitness progress. I hope you get some answers!!
