Hi

I'm hoping to lose about 15lbs. I've been following a healthy eating plan with daily exercise for 2 weeks now but the weight seems to be coming off very slowly. Only around 1.5lbs so far. My body fat has dropped by 2% though so I guess something is happening.

Anyway I'm happy to befriend anyone one here who wants support and who wants to offer support.

I'm petite (5 feet 2 1/2 inches) and a vegetarian.

    Stick with it. If you make small changes they can last a lifetime. May take longer but you will keep it off forever.

    I am very similar. I am 5'4" and want to lose 25 lbs. I am half way there at 12 lbs lost. I have been seriously trying on MFP for the last 90 days. I have gone from a size 12 to size 6 in that period of time. It is slow, but it is working. So if you are noticing your body fat dropping then just stay with what you are doing - when there is less to lose - it's seems to take longer - but it does work. Send me a friend request if you want.     Sounds like you're right on track, not slow. Once you are within 20ish lbs of your goal it's recommended that you change your settings to .5 lb/week.
