Hi all

I have been using Isalean shakes by Isagenix after a family member brought them over from Canada. The problem is I ran out and I have found it very difficult to get them here in the UK (I even emailed Isagenix to see if they can ship over without success). The shakes were fantastic. It's the first time I used anything like that and I couldn't believe how full I felt after taking them. Anyway, I have since been looking for a UK replacement and came across the Tony Ferguson supplements from Boots. Can anyone tell me if they are any good??? Thanks for any information you can provide :)

I know a number of people here (Australia) who have followed the Tony Fergusson program.
They all lost weight, then ALL put it back on again.
The shakes are full of processed ingredients, so I wouldn't go near them, I suggest you have a look at the ingredients list and decide for yourself if you want to eat that stuff.

(As you can probably tell I'm not a fan of shake based "diets", I don't think they set you up with healthy eating habits and strategies to keep the weight off long term. I also think they are overpriced, over marketed and only exist to make money for the pharmacists. So, perhaps you would be better off listening to someone elses advice, not mine!)

Thanks for that....I understand people not wanting to try the shakes. I was like that myself until I tried the Isalean ones. They are really good to be fair. I am in the process of trying the TF ones now and they are TOOOO sweet and they are full of sugar! So I guess thats it with them :(

I appreciate any advice I can get because dieting (or having to!) is all new to me.

    p.s. you look great :)

    Thanks :)

Personally I think the best strategy is NOT to diet, but instead to pay attention to eating healthier foods and portion control. If you combine this with a bit of exercise then you are setting up great long term habits that will help to keep the weight off.
But of course, there are a million different ways to lose weight and every one thinks their way is the best.
Good luck finding what works for you!
