Newbie looking to lose

Hi everyone, am new here. Have abandoned all "diets" but really want to think about eating less, losing a bit of weight and eating healthier. Also need to exercise more so using this site to spur me on.

In reality I need to lose about 2 stone and would like to make a reasonable dent in that before I go to the US on my holibobs in late Sept. Basically I have about 6 weeks to do some good. :-)

    I dont diet anymore either, I try to eat sensibly most of the time and shift my butt more.
    I have a stone to lose to get me back to where I need tobe before I think about losing anymore weight.
    Please add me as a friend and hopefully we can motivate each other.
