OK..... I am done with my swiffer wet jet mop. I put to much money into it. I'm always buying batteries or pad and the cleaning stuff. I'm not getting my moneys worth anymore. Ok I feel a little better.

Somewhere I'm hearing the faint strains of a Swiffer singing, "Baby come back-- you can blame it all on me-- "0 -
You can use a microfiber cloth on it instead. Just dunk the cloth in hot soapy water, wring it out, and place it on the swiffer head. It picks up the dust and dirt, is washable and re-usable, and works as well, if not better than the swiffer pads. Or use the cloth dry on the swiffer for hardwood or laminate floors as a dusting tool. Much more efficient and cost effective. Microfiber is pretty much all I use anymore for cleaning and drying dishes.0

A bucket of pine-sol/water and a rag are all I need to clean the floor (I'm a hands-and-knees gal - you can't get all that stuck-on stuff off without some elbow grease.)
And now that DD is older - this chore has been passed on to her (jumping for joy) :laugh:0 -
I really want the h2o mop!!!0

I'd settle for a maid-- let her mop the #$@! floor.1

ROFL Marla!!! I thought of that, too! Those commercials get stuck in my head!:laugh:0 -
OR you can do as my DH did the other day.
I have been complaining he never helps around the house, and is quite inconsiderate actually.
I asked him to:
^clean his glass and bowl when finished snacking
>take out the garbage when it is full
<put his plates and such in the kitchen
~put the toilet seat down
Very simple things I think, and not unreasonable.
Well I come home the other day and he is 'skating' around the tile floor:noway:
He has a good dishtowel under each foot and he is 'mopping' .
Big smile, so happy he is helping. Glasses and plates piled in the sink, stinky garbage overflowing!!
I had to laugh cuz:ohwell:1 -
