I've been using this site to track my food & exercise for about a week now, and I'm starting to train myself to eat smaller portions -- Just knowing that I'm going to have to log my calories later helps, haha.

    It's proven that if you keep a journal of food, you're likely to eat less :)

    When I first started logging my foods (even before I started using this site), I noticed that it definitely works, especially if I had to hand write it. The laziness took over and my disgust for the amount of calories I was taking in was even worse. I try really hard now to get that "Heather completed her food and exercise journal for (enter date here) and was UNDER her calorie intake." It makes me feel great :)
