searching for recipe ingredients

For example: several recipes for fish chowder with lentils show widely different cal/serving. How can I find out what the specific ingredients are? I want to post my own recipe but don't want to duplicate someone else's.

If you know what you put in your own version, then just click on the recipes tab under food, and create a new recipe (on the right of that page). Add the ingredients you used and the number of servings the entire recipe was, and it'll give you a calorie count specific to your recipe and serving. After saving the recipe, you'll have it there for future reference if you ever make the same meal again. But as far as knowing what are in other people's recipes, you can't know unfortunately...0

You can enter in your own recipe and not make it available to the public. That way it will be accurate for you but not duplicating anyone else.0
