...that you'd thought to buy your favorite clothes in a few sizes? I'm going through my storage so I can get rid of all the clothes that are too big for me. All I keep thinking is "this is cute. I still wanna wear it. Why didn't I buy it in like 4 different sizes?!"

not really. but i do wish i had kept one pair of pants from last time i lost a lot of weight. they were red, kind of cargo ish and just totally awesome. but i threw out all my clothes that didnt fit cause it totally upset me. I was in a store yesterday looking for some clothes and i can't wait to get out of the plus sizes. Right now, everything in the store was just ugly. I haven't been in a regular store for years but i sure hope the clothes are nicer. lol and also, if you kept wearing the same clothes, even if they are smaller, you wouldnt get that visual reminder of how much weight you've lost already. something i need. but we're all different.

If you really love something take it to a tailor. Most of the time they can take things in.

I thought about that, but I've heard that if you take something in a lot, it looks weird, like it loses its shape.

Yes! I think that every time I wear my fav jean capris. They are sort of stretchy, so they still fit nicely and make me look thin. But the waist is getting to be too big so it kind of pooches out and looks like some kind of weird belt. Or just a belly pooch. Lol. I keep thinking how bummed I'll be when I can't wear them any more! Lol I'm going to have to start searching for a replacement pair! Haha!

I think about that NOW! I actually love shopping now that I can get cute things. But I still have a ways to go. So when I really love something, I consider getting it a few sizes down too. Im too cheap and havent convinced myself.... yet.

A sewing machine was the best investment I've ever made. I've been taking my clothes in for a few months now. While it requires some patience to get the fine tuning down, once the kinks were worked out, it's been a breeze.
