I have faced a lot of challenges this last year, I mean a lot! But this may be the toughest one I've had to face.. Our grown son, 25 years old, has moved back home!
He's a nice person, works hard, is quiet...however, he eats everything in sight! If it can't run away he'll eat it...healthty, unhealthy, doesn't matter! He ate my dinner today while I was at church! I actually made enough so that if he wanted some he could eat some, he ate it all!!
Because I fill in my diary ahead of time, I've had to find something else for dinner and redo my diary. Lord give me strength! Thanks for letting me rant, I know I can defeat this challenge as well, pray for me!

Set some ground rules. He's 25..he can handle being told "look, I'm counting calories, so please don't eat this food". Or start portioning out your meal separately and label it. Then tell him not to eat whatever says "mom".0

Wonderful idea! I have the permanent marker in my hand! Thanks!0

I agree that ground rules have to come into play. Ask him for some grocery money, perhaps show him how to cook healthy meals that you can eat, etc. You will meet this challenge.0

Thank you friend! He gave me some money as soon as he moved in! He also loves to cook and does cook when he's off from work. But his appetite is ridiculous and he will honestly eat any and everything in his path! He'll replace it, but then you don't have it when you want it! I'm sure I can work out some arrangement with him, along with putting a fridge in my room0
