I'm Kelly, I'm 28. I love my hair - the colour, the texture, the compliments it gets. My inspirational quote "just keep swimming." Haha love Dory.

I've never been a part of a challenge before but I really need this one...
  • Oh yeah!!! Count me in!! :D I am definitely getting back on! My Name is Metalhead187 I am a college student, my favorite saying of all time is " If it goes down your throat, record it on paper. "This is the bible," - Jason Statham." UPDATE: Are you going to post the challenges here at MFP or Facebook?

How about we make the challenge until the end of September so that will make 8 weeks long! Any friends that want to join need to write on the wall as well (just makes it easier for me to message them!) What specifics are you looking for?

I'm in! I'm Lindsey, 22, just celebrated my 1 year wedding anniversary with the hubby 8/6. Since our wedding I've put on about 40 pounds, and I need to whoop it off! I'm hoping in 6 months to a year to have it all gone, and be fit as a fiddle! We just got Kinect and I'm super excited! One of my favorite quotes is "Insist on yourself. Never imitate." by Ralph Waldo Emerson.

    Just 'liked' the facey page....

What sort of daily challenges will there be? I ask because I'm not in the US so will need to do them in my own time zone...

I've just never done this before, it's my first challenge!! Yay me! I'll let them know to comment on here. I'm a 30 year old married mother of 2. I'm 6ft and my current weight is 190 and my ultimate goal would be about 165 or a size 10/12. I had a stroke 2 1/2 years ago and I've been working hard to get fit since then. I did make a miraculous recovery (IMO!) and I'm back to "normal" now. Now I start working on me and getting me to feel healthy and strong. Fitness is my main goal, not so much a specific size/weight, though I think my goals are reasonable and I felt good at those numbers. Thanks for encouraging me to get more serious about it!

Inspirational Quote: "Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, 'I will try again tomorrow'."

I'd like to join. I haven't done a challenge in a while. I had made my goal weight and was doing pretty good with maintaining then boom! Here comes summer and all the trips and fun things that go along with it. I truly need/want to get back on the wagon and get no motivation or support at home-it all comes from my MFP friends. I don't have a lot of weight to lose so may actually be a hindrance to a team so if that's the case I totally get it. I only want to lose 4 lbs. to get to my goal but am actually thinking of dropping my goal another 5 lbs. so when I start heavy lifting I won't be above my "magic number". My name is Angie, I'm married and I have 2 boys aged 14 and 16. I weigh 138 ish right now and 135 is my goal, possiblye 130.
  • I'd like to join in! I always need more motivation so I don't fall off the wagon. I'm a 20 year old college student studying elementary education. :-) I'm on my phone right now so I'll have to get back to you on the quote!
  • Great quote! ;)
  • Hi, Tarran.
I'd love to be a part of this; I am going to be on KTKoopman's team.
My name is Rachel, I am 31, and I love my desire to continously approve in all aspects of my life! :)
Great quote for this: "“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” Winston Churchill and I also love " “If you think you're too small to be effective, you've never been in bed with a mosquito.” Betty Reese.
  • Hi, Tarran!

I'd love to join this challenge and I'll be on KTKoopman's team. My name is Keri, I'm 31, and I'm a married mom of two preschoolers. I'm currently 180 lbs. and would ultimately like to get down to 135 or 140, but more importantly I would like to not be out of breath while chasing my children. I've been going to some classes at the gym and there's a poster there than says, "Work hard, work hard" and I love it. It reminds me that I need to find my rewards from somewhere other than food and laziness after working out. Looking forward to some extra motivation from this challenge!

hello....I'm back its been a while just finishing the nurse practitioner portfolio until then (aug 30th) I am having to live and eat (badly) at the computer to get my portfolio done so will be best to loose weight after that, but don't let the wagon go off into the distance without me!!!
