Grand Hotel, Mackinac Island??

My husband surprised me with a trip to the Grand Hotel at Mackinac Island!! Has anyone ever been there?? I need to know some things to do, how to dress, any other tips/suggestions.........

    Wonderful! Mackinac is a gorgeous place! You'll be able to get lots of walking and biking in --no cars allowed on the island! Also, I've heard that the Grand Hotel does have a dress code; no jeans allowed. My daughter's Girl Scout troop went there last summer and they all made skirts for themselves specifically to wear there. She said it was great!
