Good Morning Everyone,

I need your advice.

I have been in a weight loss contest at my gym for the last 10 weeks. Tonight is my final weigh in, but not until 6pm :( I would have much preferred to weigh in in the morning but this is the way it is. As of last week, I was in 1st place! What should I do today as far as eating and drinking to ensure I don't weigh more at weigh in time? Should I limit my water?? Food?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions. Have a great day

I wouldn't limit water. As for food, I would just watch the sodium, but otherwise eat normally.

Can you get in a workout before? That'll help with water retention.

Have all the WIs been in the evening? If so, they should be consistent and it shouldn't matter.

Everyone will be weighing in at 6? If so, then everyone will have those extra lbs from throughout the day. Don't be disappointed with your weight at 6PM...I can be up 3-4 lbs in the evening! GOOD LUCK!

Tonight I have to work out AFTER the weigh in due to time constraints.

And yes, all weigh ins have been in the evening. Guess I am just being a little paranoid because this is the final one and every little bit counts :) Thanks for your help

OK. So they've all been in the evening. That's good. Even though we generally weigh more in the evening than in the morning, if you're eating consistently the same things daily, you should have a consistent 6 p.m. weight each week, so it shouldn't matter for the purposes of the contest.

    Good luck!!!
