Chinese Tea Eggs: A high protein, no carb snack :)
Options
So I've been trying to work more protein into my day without doing so much cheese and so on, but I was also getting pretty bored with plain ol' hard-boiled eggs. I saw a tutorial for preparing Chinese tea eggs on a blog and decided to try it out, and they are very tasty and a fun little food to bring to work for your tea or coffee break snack! Just thought I'd share the tip for anyone who's looking to "spice up" their hard-boiled eggs.
Not only are they pretty, but they have a lovely sweet and spiced flavor! I'm sure you could play around with the broth of tea and spices to suit your taste. For starters, I definitely went with a low-sodium soy sauce, myself.
The recipe I used is at:

(I hope the photo and the link show up! I don't know if I did that right, lol)
