Scale addiction!!!

So I do believe that I have overcome my addiction to my scale. Something I have been obsessed with since I started my weight loss journey a few years ago. I had decided last week that I would only weigh myself on Monday morning before I head out for my work out. Well, this morning.... I forgot to get on the scale. I know it sounds so silly to be excited about this but first you would have to understand the level of my addiction. I would weigh myself daily, sometimes more than once. Since I have been so successful in the past with weight loss and then all the sudden I was stuck.... this was absolutely frustrating and I would go binge eat because all my efforts seemed to be pointless!!! This was my though process... Well, anyways go me!!! Woot Woot!!! Maybe I will shoot for once a month!

Good for you!! Resisting the temptation to constantly weigh yourself is a tough one. The fact that you forgot to weigh in on your set day means you're really breaking the habit and finding other ways to motivate yourself which is perfect!!!0

dont feel bad, I have the same addiction, I weigh myself atleast 5x's a day, I guess cause I hit a plateau since November 2010 & cant get it off, it all started with the holidays then my dad got cancer, and due to stress i was uo & down.. so I too weigh myself on Monday mornings before breakfast..So you can do this...idk why I am soo obessed with it..0

wow! good for you! I'll admit I'm a little obsessive about the scale...when I was deep into my eating disorders, I would keep the scale in my room and weigh myself multiple times a day. When it's that serious, it really is a big deal to overcome something like that...so I comment you on that!0
